STORRS, Conn. - Former UConn star James Buchknight of the Charlotte Hornets was thrown from his courtside seat by a sports official in the second half as Xavier was captured by No.24 Husky 72-61.
Bockknight, who played two seasons for Connecticut and is an NBA rookie, Xavier was sitting front row across the bench when he was asked to leave.
Buccaneer then moved on to the UConn student section.
"It wasn't a perfect scenario because we were playing poorly and melting a bit," Yukon coach Dan Hurley said. "He threw up. I didn't really see what had happened. And then I saw him again somewhere near the student section."
rj Cole and Tyler Polley both scored 16 points for Yukon (19-7, 10-5 Big East), which have won four of their last five matches. Adama Sanogo had 15 points and nine rebounds.
Javier (17-9, 7-8), who has lost four of five, led by 15 points from Adam Kunkel. Zach Freemantle added 11 points and 10 rebounds.
Playing in front of a raucous, sold-out crowd for the second straight game, Husky hit 52% of his shots and took a 17-point lead at halftime before suffering a second-half bounce from the Musketeers.
Yukon are 7-0 this season at the Gampel Pavilion, which is on its premises.
