Box Office: Bheemla Nayak holds strongly on Saturday; Set for 100 crores+ worldwide weekend

After the bumper opening on Friday, Bhimla Nayak made a big bang at the box office on Saturday. Pawan Kalyan - Rana Daggubati face to face earning Rs. 22.20 crore (Rs 13 crore share) almost on the second day, down 40 per cent from Friday, taking the total to Rs. 58.20 crore (Rs 39.70 crore share) in two days. With another $2.8 million (Rs 21 crore) overseas, the worldwide gross is Rs. 79 crore approx, and will cross Rs. 100 crores today.

In the twin states of AP/TS, the film earned Rs. 18.50 crore (Rs 11.40 crore share) for almost two days on Saturday with approximately Rs. collection of. 50 crores earning. 35.90 crore shares. Generally, Telugu big-ticket films tend to score very high on the first day, with high-collection morning fan shows known as "benefit shows". From day two on, it's business as usual, and this made the second day's drop look like a crash. Lately, with the absence of these benefit shows, and the usual extra shows apart from the traditional 4 shows, in Andhra Pradesh, the decline on the second day looks quite normal. The same was the case with Pushpa and the same was the case with Bhimla Nayak.

The regional description of Bhimla Nayak's two-day collection is as follows:

Nizam - Rs. 23.80 crore (Rs 15.50 crore share)

Seeded - Rs. 7 crore (Rs 5.10 crore share)

Andhra - Rs. 19.10 crore (Rs 15.30 crore share)

AP/TS – Rs. 49.90 crore (Rs 35.90 crore share)

Karnataka - Rs. 5.80 crore (Rs 2.80 crore share)

North India - Rs. 1.70 crore (Rs. 70 lakh shares)

Tamil Nadu/Kerala - Rs. 80 lakh (Rs. 30 lakh shares)

India - Rs. 58.20 crore (Rs 39.70 crore share)

In Nizam, the film earned Rs. 15.50 crore shares in two days and the weekend to around Rs. 21 crores. Tuesday is Mahashivratri holiday and till then it will be around Rs. 26 crore plus. This will basically ensure a hit plus decision for the film in the region. In Andhra region, however, it is not reasonable to expect break even with the current ticket prices, and around Rs. 30-35 crore shares will be very good result. With Rs 15.30 crores already in hand, that seems like a very achievable target for now.
