The pandemic has claimed another eagerly awaited tour.
The Fujis have announced that they are canceling their 25th anniversary tour.
Lauryn Hill, Wycliffe Jean and Prass Mitchell announced the cancellation on social media, writing, "We anticipate and understand the disappointment but our anniversary tour will not take place."
"The COVID pandemic has made tour conditions difficult, and we want to make sure we keep our fans and ourselves healthy and safe," the statement said. "The idea came up with an idea to honor and celebrate this 25th anniversary of The Score, but we see now that it is not the time to revisit this past work."
Their tour was originally announced in September and began with a small pop-up show held in New York City.
The rest of the tour was to begin in November at the United Center in Chicago, with planned stops in Los Angeles, Miami, Newark, Paris, London and more before being postponed until 2022.
Now all this together has been canceled.
"We're grateful for this special night to share with some of you in New York that rare live moment. If occasion, public safety and scheduling permits, we hope to do it again soon." Will see," the statement continued. "Thank you for all of your love and support throughout the year."
