Almost 22 years have passed since Aguilera released her only album "Mi Reflexo" in Spanish.

His return to the Latin market was imminent in his career, he told CNN en Español's Zona Pop in a press conference.

"'Mi Reflejo' was such a beautiful, special time in my life, but it was more than 20 years before I was coming on the scene. I was too green for business. I was baby Christina," the singer said. said the singer. , "20 years later, I'm an older woman who had such an incredible career. Now I have to come back to reflect that."

Aguilera also said that now as a mother, she loves the chance to share her Spanish music with her children because it "is a big part of them and who they are."

"And so, they can see Mom doing her work in Spanish, they can hear it and feel it through the level of the music," Aguilera said.

"La Fuerza" is the first of three releases she hopes to make in 2022.

Aguilera said she would address her relationship with her father in a film to be released at the end of the year.

She said, "I have a slightly different relationship with my father. I have spoken openly about it in the past." "I address my father, and this is the first time I ... am coming from a place where I am making peace with parts of my past."

"On a deeper level," she said, "this album means a lot to me because I've been able to embrace so many things about who I am and where I am now."

Cooperation

The two songs of "La Fuerza" are a collaboration, something common in Latin music.

"Latin music is such a community-based, beautiful environment, and there's so much to love that I wanted to make it a unified experience," Aguilera told CNN En Espaol.

"It's more important to me now that I work with artists I not only admire, but that I know I'm doing because I love and want experience. Experience is something that doesn't work for me." Also more than anything else. And at this point in my life and career, it is important for me to do the things that I love to do and not for any other reason," the singer said.

In her debut single, "Pa' Miss Muchachas", Aguilera surrounded herself with feminine powerhouses.

"I have so much admiration for other strong women and women who speak their truth," she said.

Nicky Nicole, Aguilera said, "reminds me that I'm so coming forward - so fresh and new in the business when I did my first Spanish album." Nathy Peluso, meanwhile, is "so incredible on stage" and "a natural lover and performer".

"I am mesmerized when I see him," she said. "And then you have Becky G, who represents such a strong, polished, smart little businesswoman. I love chatting with her."

While working on the song, the singer recounted her experience making 2001's "Lady Marmalade," in which Aguilera joined forces with singers Moa, Lil' Kim, and Pink.

"I loved doing 'Lady Marmalade' back in the day," Aguilera said, "and every different woman represents just how strong a woman they are."

A theme of empowerment that seems to have no language barrier.

'La Fuerza' is releasing on Friday.
