Actress Kim Mi Soo, who played a supporting role in Korean drama "Snowdrop", has died at the age of 31.
On January 5, news broke on Osen that the actress had passed away. However, the cause of his death has not been disclosed yet.
His funeral service will take place at the Taneung Sungsim Funeral Home.
Soon after the news broke, his agency Landscape Entertainment confirmed the report and also asked fans and media to refrain from spreading rumors and speculations. It added that the actress' family is in a state of shock at the moment and is saddened by the loss.
"We are saddened and heartbroken by the news. Kim Mi Soo passed away suddenly on January 5. The bereaved family is currently deeply saddened by the news of the sudden loss," the statement said.
It further added, "We sincerely ask you to refrain from reports of rumors or speculations so that the bereaved family, who is in shock, can remember the deceased reverently. As per the wishes of his family, the last rites were performed. Will be held quietly in private. Please wish peace to Kim Mi Soo, and once again, we express our deepest condolences to the deceased."
Kim Mi Soo played the role of Yeo Jung Min in 'Snowdrop'. Her character Yoon Young is one of Roose's doormats (played by Blackpink's Jisoo). Although the series is still airing, its filming was wrapped up because it was a pre-produced drama.
Kim Mi Soo has appeared in several famous plays including 'Hellbound', 'Hi Bye Mama', 'The School Nurse Files' and 'Yumi Cell'.
