IJ Watt suffered a significant shoulder injury in November, leaving him expected to be away for 6-8 months. But like Cam Acres, Watt is returning more quickly than we initially thought.
According to Fox Sports' Jay Glazer, Watts is expected to play and play against the Los Angeles Rams on Monday night. It's a big lift for the Arizona Cardinals, who now add Watts to a defensive front that already includes Chandler Jones and Marcus Golden.

The Rams have two of the best offensive tackles in the league, along with Rob Havenstein and Andrew Whitworth, but will have their hands full against a trio of Rushers near Arizona on Monday.
Protecting Matthew Stafford is paramount and the Rams have done an excellent job of it. Watts will make it more difficult after missing the last meeting in November.
