After the instruction letter received from the prison department of the state government, Udakishunganj Deputy Superintendent of Police Dinesh Thakur has banned the meeting of the prisoners. This instruction has been conveyed to all the jail personnel, prisoners. At the same time, a notice banning the meeting has also been pasted on the outside board. The Deputy Superintendent of Prison said that till further orders, there will be a ban on meeting. Relatives will not be able to meet the prisoners for a month. The Deputy Superintendent of Prison said that arrangements are being made for the meeting through video conferencing. It may be mentioned that the prison department has taken this decision as a precautionary measure in view of the third wave of corona infection. The prison department believes that the infection is spreading rapidly. In such a situation, there is a risk of increasing infection in jails. If visitors arrive, the infection can spread. The reason is that there will be contact with the jail staff. The infection can reach the prisoners through the prison worker.
