Arjun Kapoor says he and Janhvi Kapoor-Khushi Kapoor ‘living under the roof’ as a happy family is ‘fake perception’

Arjun Kapoor opened up about his equation with his sisters and said that there’s mutual respect from both ends. He added that he doesn’t like to ‘interfere’ much in their lives.

Arjun Kapoor opened up about his equation with his sisters and said that when they discuss personal matters with each other, he stays away from interfering in their lives. He said that there is mutual respect from both the sides, being the elder brother, he likes to joke with him more. In a new interview, he said he 'hates' to make a 'fake impression' about his bond with his siblings, and will talk about it as it is.

Arjun and his sister Anshula Kapoor are the children of Boney Kapoor's first wife Mona Shourie. Janhvi Kapoor and Khushi Kapoor are Boney's daughters with late actor Sridevi. Arjun had earlier said that after Sridevi's death in 2018, Boney's children were all tied up. On Koffee With Karan, Janhvi had revealed that they are all part of a WhatsApp group called 'Dad's Kids'.

In an interview with Masala.com, Arjun was asked about his relationship with his sisters, when he said: "The good thing is that they respect me and I respect them. I bully in that sense." I troll him from time to time because I have a witty sense of humor and crack a few extra jokes.”

"Regarding advice, we don't live together anymore so we are not discussing everything on a day to day basis. I hate to make the false impression that we are a happy family living under one roof. and discussing everything. We've discussed a lot of things and we'll continue to do that. But it's still a very intimate space for us to openly come out and talk about it. I I am someone who believes in letting people do what they want to do. I don't interfere. But yes, if any of them come to me to talk about something, I always give two cents on my experience I am ready to give."

Earlier this year, in an interview with Harper's Bazaar India, Arjun said that Janhvi and Khushi acted as catalysts towards improving their relationship with dad Boney. "We've all faced many of our demons. It has to do with letting go, which is so laxative... it's weirdly therapeutic to just sit and talk shit, and realize you're unconsciously Or were deliberately holding things up, as you were supposed to. But I love my father more because of those two. It's complicated. I've been able to see my father from a different perspective. If I were Janhvi and Khushi Had I not shared this equation with him, I would have resented many things and would not have felt the need to reconnect with him at this stage,” he said.

Arjun Kapoor was last seen in Bhoot Police which released on Disney Plus Hotstar in September. His line-up includes Ek Villain Returns, in which he co-stars with John Abraham, Tara Sutaria and Disha Patani.
