Adele postpones Las Vegas residency due to Covid-19

Adele apologized to fans in a tearful video on Thursday, announcing that she was postponing her anticipated Las Vegas residency because of the COVID-19 pandemic.

"I'm so sorry," the singer said in a video posted on Twitter on Thursday. "My show isn't ready. We've tried our best to put it together on time and that should be enough for you, but we're totally devastated by delivery delays and COVID."

The residency was due to begin on Friday at the Colosseum at the Caesars Palace Hotel in Las Vegas.

He said that half of his team and crew have come down with Kovid.

"It's become impossible to finish the show," she said, tearfully. "I'm disappointed, I'm sorry it's last minute."

The artist, who apologized several times in the video, said she was "upset" and "embarrassed".

"We're going to reschedule all the dates," she said. "I'm going to end my show, I'm going to get it where it needs to be. I'm sorry. We're so against."

The singer released her album "30" in November. The residency was to run from January to April.

Residency tickets sold as high as $30,000 per seat in secondary markets for some concerts.
