The demand for Tirumala Darshan tickets continues and lakhs of people have logged on to the TTD website to book tickets. TTD has issued 4,60,000 tickets for January quota online on Friday. TTD website got 14 lakh hits for Darshan ticket in one go. However, the ticket allotment process went smoothly and 4,60,000 tickets were booked in 55 minutes. Meanwhile, TTD has issued 20,000 tickets per day from January 1 to January 13 to 22, 12 thousand per day from January 2 to 12 and January 23 to 31. TTD, on the other hand, issued 5,500 virtual service tickets online on Thursday, January 1, 2, 13, 22 and 26, which were booked within minutes.

TTD will also issue Sarvadarshan tickets for the month of January on Saturday. 1,55,000 tickets will be available for Sarvadarshan. The TTD advised that the devotees coming for Tirumala Darshan should strictly follow the COVID norms and asked the devotees to bring two doses of vaccine or a certificate of vaccination along with a COVID negative report.
The TTD said that as the number of devotees increases, new rules are being implemented to protect the health of the devotees. The TTD appealed to the devotees to cooperate in this decision.
