Tyler, the creator is over the moon about his second Grammy win and thanks everyone who played a part in his success — including his detractors.
The rapper, who was not in attendance at the 64th Annual Grammy Awards, gave an informal acceptance speech on Instagram Live on Sunday, saying he was "hyped" to receive the news that he had released the album for his sixth album "Call". Won for Best Rap Album. Me if you get lost."
Tyler made sure to thank his album collaborator DJ Drama, who appears on the LP's opening track "Sir Baudelaire" as well as "my friends for being my cheerleaders".
"You're so important to rap music," Tyler said of DJ Drama in the video. "Thanks to my whole team, the whole squad... where I can make an album where I'm just flex (all day)."

DJ Drama returns love during an interview with Veno, Rob Markman and Gia Peppers on Amazon Music.
"Salute to Tyler, the creator: He's a genius, man," Drama said after finding out they would win the award. "For getting that phone call, for being a part of history, for being a part of that album (and) for him to speak so much about me and 'Gangsta Grillz' (the first album of the play) for him." What matters is that it's a full-circle moment."
Although Tyler shared his admiration for supporters during an Instagram Live, the Grammy winner Emmys also made it a point to acknowledge his critics.
"I know you're angry and (saying) 'Ugh, no one listens to that album,'" Tyler said. "These arena tours that are sold out say different, and if you put that much energy into something, maybe everyone will be proud of you too."
Tyler's remarks echo similar criticism made by DJ Khaled in 2019, when Tyler's album "Igor" ousted Khalid's album "Father of Ashad" from the number 1 spot on the Billboard 200 chart, Complex and As per the report of NME.
"You know, driving your car, you hear another car playing it," Khalid said in a deleted post about the commercial reception of his music at the time, according to outlets. "You know, go to the barbershop, you hear them play it. You know, turn on the radio and you hear them play it. It's playing everywhere. It's called great music. It's called an album." It's something you actually listen to songs. There's no mystery (stuff) that you never heard it."
"Igor" won Tyler his first Grammy Award in January 2020 at the 62nd Annual Grammy Awards, where he won Best Rap Album.
