Not many people in the world will have a better week than Jim Nantz, the beloved announcer of play-by-play.
Tonight, he's calling the national title game between Kansas and North Carolina. In a matter of days, he will travel to Augusta, Georgia to convene the Masters as well.
Before that, though, Nantz's hands are full of Tar Heels and Jayhawks. During the first half of the action, Nantz and the rest of the basketball world watched as North Carolina went 14–0.
The Tar Heels got a huge performance from Brady Manek in the first half, which led to an unbelievable - and terrifying - joke from Nantz. He used the song "Manic Monday" from The Bangles as a pun for "Manek Monday".
“Jim Nantz stole my Manek Monday joke, now I have to take him to the Masters. That’s the rule,” said one person.

“Now that Jim Nantz has used it, the Manek Monday joke is off the table, guys,” said someone else.

Mike Golick Jr. said, "I hope Jim Nantz sticks out his shoulder and pats his back to take down the Manek Monday joke."
I hope Jim Nantz popped his shoulder out patting himself on the back for landing that Manek Monday joke

Nantz may have fired the joke too early.
Maybe they should have waited for the second half.
