It's all part of April Fools' Day, when companies and big-name brands try to outwit each other for the funniest fake product announcements.
Hellman's Mayonnaise with Butterfinger kicked off the pun parade on Thursday and the folly has been spreading ever since.
Companies took a pass on April Fools' Day in 2020 with the COVID-19 shutdown sinking in. But last year, as the nation began to unwind a bit, the stunts returned in full force with fun gags like Velveeta Cheesy Skin Products. and Bud Light Pizza-flavored seltzer.
Meat lovers will always be able to exude the pitmaster's aura with the "Sweat" trio of Omaha steaks that come in aromas of steak, mesquite, and lighter fluid.
