Wrestling legend Scott Hall on life support after multiple heart attacks

MARIETTA, Ga. (WTAJ) — Wrestling legend Scott Hall, who became popular as Razor Ramon in the early 1990s, was placed on life support after suffering multiple heart attacks following hip replacement surgery.

According to former WWE wrestler "Marvelous" Mark Mero, the surgery had serious complications and suffered three heart attacks, leaving "The Bad Guy" on life support at Wellstar Kinestone Hospital in Marietta, Georgia.

"My thoughts and prayers go out to Scott Hall who is on life support at Wellstar Kenneston Hospital. We spent many years together in WCW and WWE. Some great memories," Mero tweeted.

Hall saw a huge rise to fame in the early '90s as the Scarface-inspired Razor Ramon. After several Intercontinental Title runs, Hall left WWE to return to WCW (World Championship Wrestling), where he helped revolutionize wrestling by forming the New World Order, or nWo, with Hulk Hogan and Kevin Nash.

Over the years, Hall developed a serious alcohol addiction that also appeared on television as part of the story in WCW and TNA/Impact Wrestling. He later sought treatment and was cured.

He has since been inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame twice, once with the NWO himself and once as the iconic Razor Ramon. In an acceptance speech, he famously said, "Hard work pays off, dreams do come true. Bad times don't last, but bad people do."

"Our thoughts and prayers are with Scott Hall and his family. Thinking of all of you right now. Sending so much health, healing, love and making your way. Zoxo," Impact Wrestling Knockout Champion Mickie James tweeted Sunday afternoon.
