Tornado Watch until 11 AM

Sarasota, Fla. (WWSB) - Thunderstorms are now on the Suncoast. Direct winds can go as high as 50 or 60 mph in Suncoast as the storm continues. Most storms will move south and east between noon and 1 a.m. There is a possibility of rain at some places till 3 pm. The tornado watch is in effect until 11 a.m. A brief tornado with thunderstorms is possible this morning. After the front, winds will move to the northwest in the afternoon with gusts of over 30 mph. The mercury will also drop into the 60s at noon. By Sunday morning we're back at temperatures near 40, even east of I-95 in the 30s, with wind gusts in the low 30s. Sunday is sunny, the winds are dead, but still chill, our afternoons will only climb into the 60s.

There is a possibility of rain in another storm late Tuesday night, which is likely to persist till Wednesday.
