Rockers Greta Van Fleet bring their psychedelic sounds to Wells Fargo Arena in September

Influenced by Greta Van Fleet's psychedelic blues sounds, hard rock arrives in Des Moines when the band plays the Wells Fargo Arena on September 21.

Some compare the sound of the Michigan-based band to that of Led Zeppelin, in which lead vocalist Josh Kieszka sounds like Robert Plant. Josh forms the band with his twin brother Jake, his younger brother Sam and friend Danny Wagner, which begins their 42-city tour on August 16 in Quebec City, Quebec.

Greta Van Fleet released her debut song "Highway Tune" in 2017 and propelled it to mainstream success. Songs such as "Safari Song," "When the Curtain Falls," "You're the One" and "Black Smoke Rising" gained a wide following. He won the Grammy Award for Best Rock Album in 2019 for "From the Fire".

The tour comes in support of the band's sophomore studio album "The Battle at Garden's Gate", which came out in April 2021 and debuted at #1 on Billboard's Rock Albums, Hard Rock Albums and Vinyl Albums charts.

Houndmouth and Robert Finlay open for Greta Van Fleet.

Tickets go on sale Friday afternoon through hyveetix.evenue.net.
