Boxing fans were left fuming after a failed stream showing Eddie Hall competing with halfthor 'Thor' Björnsson.
Viewers were expecting to see the event billed as "the heaviest boxing match ever".
But with less than 15 minutes to go before the first bell, the stream was still not working on Segi.TV, much to the dismay.
To make matters worse for the pair the Dubai venue was practically empty.
Hall may have been the first Brit to win World's Strongest Man since 1993 and the first to deadlift 500kg, but his first boxing fight in the United Arab Emirates didn't seem to have had much of an attraction.
Many supporters in the UK were eager to see how he fared against fierce rival Thor, so he voiced his feelings when the stream failed to work.
One fan wrote on Twitter: "Putting Eddie Hall vs Thor on Segi TV is definitely a big mistake, mine won't even load.
Another addition: "This Segi TV website streaming Eddie Hall vs Thor is the biggest load of crap. The website isn't capable of even one percent of the viewers this fight attracts."
A third said: "Segi.tv found out that some dudes are sitting in the back row and streaming their mobile phones. You can hear some women just chatting. The stream is terrible. Total joke
Fortunately, there isn't much time left before 9 p.m. At the start time, the stream started working.
But there were still technical difficulties with some viewers only being able to access the stream using the Incognito Mode feature on their web browsers.
At one point only half the screen was visible and then the stream failed again before coming back.
Once the stream was sorted, fans had what they waited for - a gripping spectacle between the two titans.
Both Hall and Thor were eager to settle the bout with knockouts and both hit big punches in the opening two rounds.
Thor needed the ropes to avoid hitting the canvas, but he came back well and secured his own knockdown in the final seconds of round three.
With a cut above each eye, Hall needed a knockout in the final round to win the match but it was Thor who made a big punch to knock Britain back on the canvas.
The Icelandic giants dominated every round but in the first round and that was enough to take the win.
