Paris Saint-Germain's sporting director Leonardo says the club will do everything possible to retain "Kylian Mbappe".
A long-term target of Real Madrid, Mbappe has not signed a new contract with PSG and becomes a free agent in the summer.
"We have a possibility," Leonardo said of Mbappe's options for living. "Until there is a signing [with another club], we will try to do everything, we will do everything possible to keep him."
While PSG have not given up hope of retaining the France international, Leonardo has denied recent reports that the club had offered Mbappe a two-year contract extension, which would cost him around €50m in addition to a €200m loyalty bonus. Earn per season.
"That's not true," said Leonardo. "We haven't sent a specific offer. There's one important element: I think the last thing we'll put in this contract will be money... It's not about that [money]. Qian has such a huge value that I believe that is secondary. I think it will take him two minutes to put up a figure.
Instead, PSG is focused on convincing Mbappe that PSG is the right club for him to succeed.
"We want to put him in the best conditions to be the best player possible," Leonardo said before mentioning his ownership of PSG.
"What Qatar has done over the past 10 years has placed PSG among greats. Today, the club is a reality. He [Mbappe] is loved, admired and respected.
"Kylian is the best in the world at the moment. [PSG's Lionel] Messi has always been at this level, and I believe he will remain, but it's normal that other people come ... it's a matter to decide It's not about who is the best. One is 23 years old and the other is 34 years old."
Leonardo said there is "harmony and respect" between Messi, Neymar and Mbappe.
Meanwhile, Leonardo has strongly denied that PSG will change coaching at the end of the season.
Former Real Madrid coach Zinedine Zidane has been linked with PSG as a possible replacement for Mauricio Pochettino, an alleged Manchester United target.
Former Tottenham coach Pochettino joined PSG in January 2021 and guided the team to the Coupe de France last season.
"Honestly, we haven't thought about a change in coaching," Leonardo said. "Truth.
"He [Pochettino] has one year left on his contract [until June 2023].
"We've never approached Zidane or anyone else. Before he (Pochettino) came here, Pochettino was among the top five coaches, and he still is. "He's never been asked to leave."
Leonardo also spoke about the condition of Sergio Ramos.
Despite claims that things are not working out as planned by PSG, Leonardo believes the veteran defender's career is not over.
Muscle injuries have limited the 35-year-old to five appearances in all competitions since joining PSG as a free agent on a two-year contract after leaving Real Madrid in July.
Leonardo said of Ramos, "When we signed him, he was physically fine." "So far he has played five matches. Unfortunately, what we wanted didn't happen. It's difficult for him, for us. But our report is clear. The day we say he can't play anymore, it's clear Will be everyone. But it's not. We'll wait before we conclude, the season isn't over. But I'm not afraid of myself when I make mistakes."
