Kelly Clarkson and Brandon Blackstock Settle Divorce Nearly 2 Years After Split

Kelly Clarkson is officially divorced! According to multiple reports, almost two years after the American Idol alum filed for divorce from the music manager, Clarkson and her ex, Brandon Blackstock, have finally settled their divorce.

L.A. Superior Court Judge Scott Gordon has signed off on terms that will give Clarkson primary custody of their two children -- River, 7 and Remington, 5. Blackstock, who lives in Montana, will have his kids one weekend a month.

ET has reached out to Clarkson and Blackstock for comment.

According to docs obtained by The Blast, The Kelly Clarkson Show host will have to pay Blackstock spousal support, which is $115,000 a month, but that expires in January 2024. She also receives $45,600 per month in child support. While Clarkson is getting both of his Montana properties, Blackstock must pay the "Since You've Been Gone" singer $2,000 a month while she stays at his ranch until June.

Court documents also say that Singer will receive family pets, several cars, including a Ford Bronco, Ford F-250, and Porsche Cayenne, as well as a flight simulator.

Blackstock will be given a range of vehicles including the former couple's "farm cattle, livestock, stock dogs, and horses," Ford F-350s, Ford F-250s, ATVs, and several Cat snowmobiles. He will also run with a golf simulator and some Patek Philippe watches.

While her prenup will remain intact, as part of the agreement, Clarkson, 39, will pay her the former $1.3 million. The premarital settlement separates all assets and income received during her marriage to 45-year-old Blackstock, which gave her rights to the Montana farm where their family quarantined together earlier in 2020.

Back in October, a judge ruled that Montana belonged to the judge of the ranch singing competition. At the time, Blackstock argued that all property and property – including farmland – acquired during their marriage were marital assets owned on a 50/50 split. However, that position was denied when the judge ruled that property acquired during their marriage was subject to the terms of the prenuptial agreement.

In January, the formerly married couple reached an agreement regarding ownership of the farm.

According to legal documents obtained by ET at the time, the talk show host agreed to give Blackstock ownership of 5.12 percent of his Warren Peak Ranch property. While the value of the ranch is $17,750,000, documents indicate that "Brandon has a 5.12% ownership interest in Warren Peak Ranch for $908,800."

Clarkson, who was declared legally single in August, filed for divorce from Blackstock in June 2020 after nearly seven years of marriage.

A source told ET in September, "Kelly is grateful for her relationship with Brandon, she learned a lot about herself and they had two perfect children." "Kelly looks forward to moving forward and successfully co-parenting with Brandon."
