Actress Jannat Zubair is extremely popular and has a huge fan following on various social media platforms. Recently, in an exclusive conversation with Pinkvilla, Zubair spoke openly about the pressure of social media. While she admits that she doesn't hate followers very often, the domain also comes with its own pressures. "What happens, people are never completely satisfied with what you do. If I post a picture, 75 or 80 percent of them like it, but another 30 percent even if they like it." If you do, they have to comment on nonsense or things like that,” says Jannat.
She further adds, 'I have said before that not every follower is your fan. If he comes after me it doesn't mean that he is my fan. Some people even do it for attention because they feel like if they write something out of the box, they might get an answer or whatever. But I think it's best to ignore it. However, sometimes it's also very hurtful, because you feel like what did I do? what happened to you I haven't done anything to you, so why?"
Further talking about his responsibility as a social media star, Zubair says, “I also have to pay attention to what caption I am putting. Because I know my fellows, the age group is between 13-14 to 18-19, they are kids. So there are times, even if it's a song lyrics and I want to put it as a caption, but if I feel like it's not appropriate for a 13 or 14 year old, I I won't do that. So it is not pressure but responsibility. I feel responsible for this. If there are some people who are this age and following me, I think it's my responsibility to make sure that whatever they see, if they are being influenced, they are going to be affected in the right way. So I must do this. Not for uploading it or putting it as a caption."
