Gandhi, who during a speech in the Lok Sabha last month blamed the Modi government for Islamabad's friendship with Beijing, reiterated that the priority now is to bring back Indian citizens from Ukraine.
China has been silently supporting Russia's invasion of Ukraine, describing the situation as "heartbreaking" and a "humanitarian crisis". In fact, China along with India and Pakistan did not participate in voting against Russia's invasion of Ukraine.
Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan visited Moscow on the day Russia launched a full-scale offensive in eastern Ukraine. Imran Khan also raised the issue of Kashmir during his meeting with Vladimir Putin.

The Foreign Ministry held a meeting of an advisory panel on developments in Ukraine on Thursday. At least nine leaders of six political parties attended the meeting.
External Affairs Ministry sources told news agency ANI that during the flurry, Congress leaders told the government that its response to the current Ukrainian crisis was delayed and that the advisories issued to citizens were misleading.
Earlier, External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar took to Twitter to share pictures of the meeting. "Meeting of the Consultative Committee of the Ministry of External Affairs on Development in Ukraine just completed. Good discussion on the strategic and humanitarian aspects of the issue. Strong and unanimous message of support for the efforts to bring back all Indians from Ukraine," posted the minister.
