One person was killed and another injured in a two-vehicle collision in Albuquerque on Saturday morning, March 5. The fatal accident occurred near Carlisle Boulevard on Interstate 40 WB.
According to reports, the driver of a black Acura was traveling east on westbound lanes of the highway. The car collided head-on with a white Chevrolet Tahoe. The driver of the Acura died as a result of the injuries and was pronounced dead on the spot. The other driver was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment after being injured.
The investigation into the cause of the accident is still ongoing.
