Wisconsin's Spring Primary is Tuesday and voters who do not already have a Wisconsin driver's license, ID or other form of ID required to vote can still obtain a Wisconsin ID from the Wisconsin Department of Transportation's Division of Motor Vehicles (DMV). can.
The Wisconsin Election Commission website explains the options for ID. There is no separate "voter ID card" and a federally-compliant real ID card is not required for voting purposes.

If all documents are not readily available, the ID petition process can be used to obtain a valid receipt for voting while the remaining documents or verifications are obtained.
Voters should bring any documents available at the DMV and fill out two forms. The DMV's website has a locator for finding the nearest DMV and checking wait times.
