Carlisle, PA - The GIANT Company has eliminated order minimums and pickup fees for GIANT Direct and Martin Direct customers who pick up their groceries.
“With today’s customers having more options than ever before, it is important that we continue to take steps to differentiate our online shopping experience,” said Matt Simon, GIANT's vice president of brand experience. “These enhancements not only accelerate our omnichannel strategy, but they also provide greater convenience and value to our GIANT Direct and Martin Direct customers, uniquely positioning the GIANT company as the online grocer of choice.”
According to GIANT, the changes are the latest investments made by the company in support of its growing e-commerce business.
In November, GIANT opened its new, state-of-the-art GIANT Direct e-commerce fulfillment center in Philadelphia to serve more customers in Philadelphia and, for the first time in its 98-year history, in southern New Jersey.
And in January, GIANT announced the launch of Ship2Me by GIANT and Ship2Me by MARTIN'S, giving customers access to an expanded assortment within traditional grocery categories and all delivered straight to one's home.
