The 18-member Sri Lanka Test team, led by star batsman Dimuth Karunaratne and led by experienced players like Angelo Mathews, Lahiru Thirimanne and Dinesh Chandimal, arrived here on Friday for the two-match series against India in Mohali starting March 4.
However, senior batsman Kusal Mendis and spinner Mahesh Tikshana have been ruled out of the last two T20 Internationals due to hamstring injuries.
Kusal, however, is going to stay back as he is a part of the Test squad and will be added subject to fitness.
Niroshan Dickwella, who recently came out of suspension for a bio-bubble breach in England last year, has been included in the T20 squad along with Dhananjaya de Silva, both of whom are also part of the Test squad.
The 18-man squad approved by Sri Lanka's Minister of Youth and Sports Namal Rajapaksa, who incidentally is Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa's son, also features all-rounder Ramesh Mendis.
