Bheemla Nayak opening weekend box office collection: The film has crossed ₹100 crore mark. Pawan Kalyan and Rana Daggubati are seen in the lead roles.

Actors Pawan Kalyan and Rana Daggubati-starrer Telugu film Bheemala Nayak has crossed the 100 crore mark at the worldwide box-office in just three days since its release. In the US, the film has crossed $2 million at the ticket window. Directed by Sagar K Chandra, the film follows two men - a police SI and a suspended army constable. They lock horns on an incident and their ego takes them on a wild journey.

According to Andhra Boxoffice, Bhimla Nayak has earned ₹110 crores worldwide in its first weekend. Out of ₹110 crores, the film has earned ₹76.5 crores from Telugu states alone. The film earned a whopping Rs 10.6 crore in Karnataka. Bhimla Nayak earned ₹15.4 crores from the US markets.

Bheemala Nayak is the official remake of Malayalam film T, which tells the story of its title characters in a tug of war about who is powerful. While Biju Menon played Ayyappan Nair, a policeman with impeccable records, Prithviraj was seen as Koshi Kurien, a retired army constable who had served 16 years.

Bhimla Nayak stars Pawan Kalyan as Ayyappan Nair, played by Biju Menon, and Rana Daggubati as Prithviraj. This is the first time that both Pawan Kalyan and Rana have worked together. Bhimla Nayak, which is produced by Sithara Entertainment and has music by SS Thaman, also stars Nithya Menon, Murali Sharma and Samyuktha Menon in pivotal roles.

The Hindustan Times review read, "Bhimla is a highly commercial remake of the protagonist Ayyappanum Koshiyum, which fails to recreate the magic of the original but still works in its own way, with Pawan Kalyan's Machinist and Rana Daggubati. Thanks to the impressive performance of Ayyappanum Koshiyum, it was immediately to be liked as it was about two flawed men extolling their masculinity and trying to prove who is stronger. The Bhimla Nayak would have taken a much safer route. and doesn't dare to tamper with the soul of the original story. However, it does make slight changes to suit Telugu sensibilities, and much more to appeal to the huge fandom of Pawan Kalyan."

Meanwhile, Ayyappanum Koshiyum is all set to remake in Tamil with Sasikumar and Sarath Kumar in the lead roles. Producer Kathiresan has acquired the rights of the Tamil remake.
