Ariana Grander and Cynthia Erivo will soon be seen in 'Wicked'

Ariana Grande and Cynthia Erivo are currently leaving no stone unturned with their preparations for the upcoming film Rogue.

During his appearance on the Red Carpet of the Screen Actors Guild (SAG) Awards on Sunday, the 35-year-old actor spoke with E! To give a glimpse of his bonding with the 7 Rings hit-maker.

"Before I even went to audition, I knew music was like the back of my hand. I was doing it in drama school and sneaking into the piano room and just learning it all ”, he observed again.

"So I think it's about learning the music, learning the story, finding your way through it," said the actor, who will be seen playing Alphaba in the film alongside Grande, who will play Glinda.

The Genius: Aretha star opens up about 'building up' her relationship with the 28-year-old singer.

"Ariana and I are meeting and chatting and building our relationship because we know it's a sisterhood and we want to be ready and ready for each other," she shared.

"So that's it, and [director] John [M. Chu] is amazing so we're just waiting to start. We're ready to rehearse and be involved," Erivo said.

"It's the most delightful thing ever. We sat on the floor of our house for three hours and just chatted and talked about everything," she told Laverne Cox.
