Barcelona ended their five-game losing run at the Clasicos after beating Real Madrid 4-0 at the Bernabeu on Sunday.
Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang scored twice in his first Clasico. Ronald Araujo and Ferran Torres were also on the scoresheet.
Despite their defeat, Real finished the game 12 points behind their famous rivals in the La Liga table.
But if this evidence is anything to go by, we can expect a very close title race next season.
Read our Barcelona player ratings below to see which stars shine the most in Madrid.
Marc-Andre Ter Stegen - 7/10
Made good defenses to thwart Federico Valverde, Vinicius Jr., Rodrigo and David Alaba.
Ronald Araujo - 7.5/10
Scored with a great header. The other end was hypnotized by Vinicius at one point when the Brazilian beat him twice and pierced Valverde for a big chance. But that was a different incident.
Eric Garcia - 7.5/10
Positioning was excellent. Barca made four interceptions while keeping their first Clasico clean sheet since 2019.
Gerard Pick - 7.5/10
solid back. A brilliant long pass played in the build-up for Barca's fourth goal.
Jordi Alba - 7/10
Had more touches than any other player. Use your experience well.
Sergio Busquets - 7/10
More tackles than anyone else on the pitch. Naturally picked up a yellow card.
Pedri - 7/10
Crafted a stellar piece of skill to make a chance for Ferran. Looks like there is someone who will be a superstar in many classics to come.
Frankie De Jong - 7/10
He completed 94.6% of his 56 passes during 70 minutes on the pitch. Three of those passes were major passes - no player made more.
Ousmane Dembele - 8.5/10
With a brilliant run and cross for Aubameyang, he claimed his sixth support of 2022. Then provided his seventh corner with a well-distributed corner, which Araujo would take home. Also helped Araujo defensively as he kept Vinicius fairly calm.
Ferran Torres - 9/10
So alive Set the tone for a busy night by winning a free-kick and attempting an acrobatic shot in the opening 60 seconds. There were six shots in total. Roasted Dani Carvajal to create a big chance Joe Aubameyang couldn't take, but an assist for the former Arsenal striker for Barca's fourth goal. A golden opportunity to score 3–0 was missed in the 46th minute, but such was Barca's dominance, their next opportunity came less than 60 seconds later and they finished it brilliantly.
Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang - 9.5/10
On a night when Real seriously missed their central striker, it was Barca's field day. marked his Clasico debut with a streamlined ending. Barca's third goal assisted with a back-heel pass to Ferran. Then four off Thibaut Courtois with his left foot for his side's fourth. Doesn't get 10/10 because he could and should have scored more.
