Royce da 5′9″ and Joe Budden Aren’t Happy About Joell Ortiz and KXNG Crooked’s New ‘Slaughterhouse’ Project

Royce da 5'9" has some ideas on the new Slaughterhouse project.

On Friday night, the Grammy-nominated rapper released a lengthy response to Rise and Fall of Slaughterhouse—a collaborative album from fellow SH co-founders Joel Ortiz and KXNG Crooked. Royce expressed his objection in an Instagram post that featured a depiction of a burning pig, which is also featured on the album's cover art above.

Nickel Nine addressed the situation with an analogy regarding an apartment building that was built by four individuals, two of whom would burn it down without the consent of the others.

"You have 25 percent ownership/equity in a building...let's say an apartment building..." he said. "You built this building with your three allies, brick by brick.. It's worth millions.. You just need to agree on a plan of attack."

The three "partners" are of course Ortiz, Crooked and Joe Budden.

"Meanwhile: you and one of the other partners just get an offer 2 together build another building but with only 2 of you... subtract your other 2 partners... yes... there's one The check is included," he continued. "But... just a catch: to do this you have to burn down an already existing building without notifying your other 2 partners... would you do that??? didn't think so... me too.. "

The post garnered mixed reactions.

Budden responded in the comments of Royce’s post with “SMH,” as pointed out by HipHopDX.
