Drejic was traded from the Toronto Raptors to the San Antonio Spurs on the February 10 trade deadline. Spurs are reportedly negotiating a contract buyout with Dragic, making him a free agent.
A top buy candidate, Dragic is a 13-year NBA veteran who has played only five games this season, averaging eight points, 2.8 rebounds and 1.8 assists. The 35-year-old guard had distanced himself from the Raptors in November for personal reasons. Toronto acquired Dragik in an off-season deal that sent Kyle Lowry to Miami.
He's joined by Kevin Durant, Kyrie Irving, and his new partner, Ben Simmons, in Brooklyn. The Nets (31-28) are currently ranked 8th in the East Standings.
