Penalties, brawls and more penalties - and we're not even talking about Abu Dhabi. Europe's top 5 leagues saw a lot of action over the weekend. In England, four of the top five won via penalties (Manchester City, Liverpool, Chelsea and Manchester United). The fourth-placed team, West Ham United, moved away from Burnley. In Spain, Real Madrid comfortably beat Atlético Madrid to dominate the standings. They are now 8 points ahead of second-placed Sevilla, 13 points ahead of Atleti in fourth and 18 points ahead of Barcelona (which drew 2-2 with Osasuna) in eighth. Across the border, Kylian Mbappe helped PSG ease out from his former club Monaco and ensured that their lead at the top remained on 13 points. In Italy, Inter Milan climbed back up after defeating Cagliari in a draw for AC Milan in Udinese.
Premier League
00:15
Since Opta's record contains the exact time (beginning of the 2006–07 season), Sadio Mane's booking after 15 seconds against Chelsea is the first recorded in a PL game.

Chelsea vs Liverpool was quite a goalfest. In fact, it was only the second PL game between the two teams that started the day in the top four, with both scoring 2+ goals in the first half. First? Arsenal's 3–2 win over Manchester United in November 1997.
4
Mohamed Salah has now scored four goals against Chelsea in the PL. Along with Kevin De Bruyne, he is jointly a former Chelsea player who has scored against him in the competition. Quite a great couple, isn't it?
10
It was Arsenal's 10th consecutive league loss versus Manchester City, their longest defeat against any rival in league history.
1 1
Manchester City's win saw them lead 11 points at the top of the PL table at the time. In PL history, only two teams have achieved majors at the end of 1 January of a season – Manchester United in 1993/94 and City themselves in 2017/18 (both 12 points).
22
Dominic Calvert-Lewin is the 22nd individual player to miss a PL penalty for Everton. In the history of the competition, only Arsenal (23) have missed penalties for more individual players.
25
Salah has now been directly involved in at least 25 goals (16G, 9A) in five consecutive seasons. Only one player has more names in PL history - Thierry Henry (7 from 1999-2000 to 2005-06).
100
This is quite a state. Gabriel's red card was Arsenal's 100th in the PL. They are now the first side in PL history to get 100 raids. Under Mikel Arteta, they have gained 11 more than any other side since their first game in charge.
150
Salah has now scored 150 goals for the English club (all comp) - 148 for Liverpool, 2 for Chelsea.
LaLiga
4
It's a weird, weird stat. Real Madrid have not won any of the four games this season in which they have enjoyed the most assets (all comps): Cadiz - 82%, Sheriff - 76%, Osasuna - 75% and on Sunday, Getafe - 74 %.
24
Barcelona conceded 24 fouls in this game versus Mallorca, their highest tally in a single LaLiga game since November 2008 versus Málaga at La Rosaleda (also 24) under Pep Guardiola.
